Job Overview
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that align with company goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems
- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth production processes
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify and address any issues
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Participate in new product development projects and provide input on design for manufacturability
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and procedures
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology
- Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the manufacturing process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and systems
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Proficient in CAD software and other engineering tools
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
