Job summary

IERUS Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support a large Missile Defense Agency program in Courtland, AL. The role focuses on implementing manufacturing processes, optimizing workflows, and driving operational excellence on a secure defense program.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, strong SOP and data analytics skills, and be able to work with Creo, Windchill EPDM, and SAP. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or related engineering; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years as a manufacturing engineer in a production environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles and/or production line setup, launch and/or development.
• Experience creating manufacturing work instructions and SOPs.

• Utilize computer aided manufacturing software to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Create and analyze 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions.
• Leverage understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence.
• Investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence.
• Integrate reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
• Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or a related engineering discipline preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years previous experience as a manufacturing engineer in a production environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing principles and/or production line setup, launch and/or development.
• Experience creating manufacturing work instructions and/or standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing bill of materials, creation, edit, and/or maintenance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active DoD Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in Aerospace manufacturing reviewing engineering, producibility, writing work instructions/SOPs, Windchill EPDM, Creo, SAP experience is a plus.
• Prior experience with THAAD and FMB programs preferred.
