Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC, representing a client in Buffalo, NY, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor for a manufacturer of temperature sensors, compression seal fittings, and cable harness assemblies. You will supervise engineering activities to improve production readiness, process reliability, quality, and throughput.

You will lead process development, tooling, work instructions, and day-to-day problem solving, coaching engineers and technicians while partnering with design

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering supporting precision manufacturing or engineered assemblies.
• Experience supervising technical personnel or leading projects.
• Knowledge of process development, tooling, drawings, and structured problem-solving.
• Ability to balance production support with improvement projects and staff development.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise manufacturing engineering workload to support production and NPI.
• Develop and improve methods, routings, tooling, and fixtures.
• Lead transition of new products into repeatable production with training.
• Provide technical support for production problems and root cause analysis.
• Identify improvements in cycle time, labor, first-pass yield, scrap, and rework.
• Collaborate with design engineering on manufacturability before release.
• Support equipment selection, capital projects, installation, and validation.
• Coach engineers and technicians, maintain process docs, ensure safety and quality.
