Job summary

Interface is a global flooring and sustainability leader seeking an Electrician I to troubleshoot electrical systems, upgrade devices, and modernize plant facilities.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing electrical craft, experience with troubleshooting, installation and decommissioning of equipment, and a valid license for powered material handling equipment; strong communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of manufacturing experience in the electrical craft.
  • Three to five years experience with troubleshooting, decommissioning and installation of equipment.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Meet license requirements for powered material handling equipment (Lift trucks, JLGs, Scissor Lift).
  • Basic computer aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot complex electrical systems with some electronics.
  • Familiar with electrical systems including, PLC, DC/AC drives, motors, HVAC, and power distributions.
  • Estimate, procure parts, modify and install electrical equipment.
  • Maintain housekeeping.
  • Comply with safety rules including lock out/ tag out procedures.
  • Comply with environmental regulations.
  • Be aware of departmental MSDS.
  • Ensure ISO procedures are followed.
  • Understand and support Interface commitment to sustainability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
