Job summary

Creative Modular Construction (CMC) in Springfield, MO is seeking a Manufacturing Designer to support fabrication and production operations through product design, project coordination, and technical documentation development. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor is required, with strong organizational skills and a team-oriented attitude.

The role involves leading design initiatives, creating detailed CAD models for CNC fabrication, and collaborating with project managers and fabrication

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes; construction industry practices preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development design initiatives with fabrication, production, and assembly teams.
• Create detailed Inventor models coordinating multiple scopes of work.
• Create detailed part drawings and assembly documents.
• Produce CAD drawings and electronic files for CNC fabrication.
• Assist with estimating takeoffs, mockup development, quality analysis, and value engineering.
