Job summary

Victory Truck Body, Inc designs and manufactures best-in-class custom engineered commercial vehicle solutions. The Mechanical Engineer will support product design, development, and layout of assemblies and components for Engineered to Order (ETO) products using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault, and Rootstock ERP, with hands-on shop involvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years creating detailed engineering/product drawings for manufactured mechanical components and BOM generation.
• Proficiency with CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma techniques preferred.
• Hands-on mechanical skills and ability to work in an industrial shop.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed fabrication drawings (parts, tools, workstations) for fabrication.
• Design parts/assemblies with BOMs, 3D models, and production-ready drawings.
• Ensure designs are producible with current manufacturing practices.
• Assist in failure analysis and root-cause determination.
• Prepare drawings and documentation for quotes and new business.
