Job summary

Hadrian is seeking a Data Science/ Data Engineer Intern to help build the data backbone of our autonomous factory. You will work on pipelines moving telemetry and quality data into our warehouse, and craft models and dashboards to guide factory decisions.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and analysts on real production data, with opportunities to ship work that directly influences operations. This internship offers hands-on learning in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS in CS, DS, statistics, applied math, or engineering with graduation 2027–2028.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Familiar with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and cloud data warehouses.
• Strong problem-solving and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines moving machine, production, quality, and program data into our warehouse.
• Model and structure datasets for daily decisions by engineering, operations, and quality teams.
• Analyze production data to surface insights on throughput, capacity, cycle time, yield, and machine utilization.
• Develop dashboards, metrics, and reports that improve visibility into factory performance and program status.
• Prototype statistical or machine learning approaches for anomaly detection, forecasting, or process optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate questions into measurable analyses.
• Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Surface data quality issues and contribute to governance discussions.
