Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Cost Analyst to join our Sangerfield, NY manufacturing facility. You will analyze material, labor, and overhead costs, monitor variances, and provide insights to improve profitability and cost control.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting/finance background, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to collaborate with Accounting, Production, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting/finance background and Excel proficiency.
• Ability to analyze cost components and variances.
• Experience with BOMs and cost accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs (material, labor, overhead).
• Maintain and compare standard vs actual costs.
• Investigate variances and explain drivers.
• Review BOMs for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Support monthly close and cost reporting.
• Collaborate with Production and Purchasing on cost trends.
