  • Understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and refine standard cost models with data for materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify cost drivers and improve efficiency.
  • Analyze sales data and cost structures to inform pricing strategies.
  • Develop cost estimates and financial models for complex customer quotes.
  • Monitor and report manufacturing variances in materials usage and labor efficiency.
  • Execute financial close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
  • Assist in budgets and forecasts for manufacturing expenses.
  • Lead transition and optimization of ERP costing methodologies for accurate reporting.

  • Maintain and refine standard cost models, incorporating accurate data for materials, labor, and overhead.

  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates and financial models to support complex customer quoting processes.

Required Skills

  • Prior experience within a contract manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
