Job summary

The Judge Group in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Cost Accountant to analyze manufacturing expenses, maintain standard costing, and support COGS reporting. You will collaborate with operations, supply chain, and plant leadership to optimize margins and manage inventory risks.

Responsibilities include updating standard costs, monitoring PPV, performing month-end close for inventory and COGS, leading cycle counts, and partnering with plant management on capital expenditure ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years accounting experience, 2+ years in manufacturing.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and costing methods required.

Responsibilities

• Costing & Variance Analysis: establish/update standard costs; analyze PPV, labor efficiency, material usage, overhead absorption.
• Inventory & Month-End Close: record GL journals for inventory, COGS, scrap; reconcile sub-ledgers.
• Audit & Control: direct cycle counts and physical inventories; manage SLOB inventory calculations.
• Operational Collaboration: partner with plant management on scrap, downtime, margins, and CapEx ROI.
