Allied-Stone, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant to manage cost accounting activities, analyze manufacturing costs, and support accurate financial reporting.

The role collaborates with Finance, Operations, Procurement and other departments to monitor costs, identify variances, improve cost controls, and provide actionable insights to management. Strong Excel and manufacturing costing experience preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably cost accounting in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles, inventory accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with standard costing, variance analysis and inventory reconciliation.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to build financial models.

Mansioni

• Maintain and analyze standard and actual cost information.
• Prepare monthly cost accounting reports and manufacturing cost statements.
• Monitor inventory valuation for raw materials, work-in-process, finished goods.
• Perform monthly inventory and cost reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Develop and maintain standard costs and costing models.
• Analyze product profitability, margins, and cost trends.
• Review production costs and manufacturing overhead for accuracy.
• Act as Finance liaison for Business Intelligence & Reporting.
• Support audits with schedules, reconciliations, and docs.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls.
• Prepare ad hoc financial and cost analyses for management.
• Other responsibilities as required.
