Qualifications

• Experience with GAAP and internal controls across manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze cost and inventory variances.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger for the plant.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end close.
• Assist with cost accounting, standard cost updates, and inventory valuation.
• Analyze production variances and provide cost insights to operations leaders.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and schedules for management and corporate.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and accuracy.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the facility.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
