Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division in Jonesville, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Controls Engineer to develop and maintain testing and assembly processes, and to design, install, validate, and troubleshoot production equipment and control programs.

You will collaborate across functions, apply Lean/Six Sigma tools, and lead cost-out initiatives while ensuring electrical safety and system reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
• Two years of engineering experience in a manufacturing testing environment.
• Relocation assistance available for candidates outside a 50‑mile radius of Jonesville, SC.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust testing and assembly processes to support plant goals.
• Design, develop, install, validate, and troubleshoot production equipment and control programs.
• Provide guidelines for test equipment design, testing protocols, data collection, and best practices.
• Collaborate across manufacturing, quality, design engineering, and suppliers to solve problems.
