Hendrickson in Canton, Ohio is seeking a PATH Student Co-op to participate in mechanical design and manufacturing support. You will work on On-Highway products from concept to job one, with hands-on involvement in design reviews and process improvements.

The internship targets students pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering and requires full-time availability during the co-op term. Strong communication, teamwork, and CREO/ProE experience are valued.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering; junior or senior preferred.
• Full-time availability for the Co-Op Term (40 hours/week).
• Excellent oral, written, and PC skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 minimum.
• 3D modeling experience with CREO/ProE preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in product design review for On-Highway products to reduce the time frame from concept to job one.
• Recommend and implement methods, tools, process or layout changes to reduce overall costs, improve quality and expand manufacturing capabilities for On-Highway products.
• Manage the mechanical design of manufacturing fixtures and tools from conception to implementation utilizing the Process Change Request system.
• Aid On-Highway project teams with manufacturing engineering support.
• Support the development of the ULTRAA-K manufacturing process.
• Maintain and update manufacturing/tooling prints.
• Remotely assist Hendrickson Trailer production plants.

• Must be able to work full time (40 hour weeks) for the Co-Op Term.
• Effective oral, written, and PC skills mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.
• 3D modeling experience in CREO/ProE is preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
