Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Fraser, MI is seeking a Manufacturing Cell Supervisor to lead daily crew operations, translate production schedules into staffing plans, and deliver safe, cost-efficient, defect-free output across every shift.

You will coach and mentor operators, drive continuous improvement, track KPIs, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse to maintain smooth flow and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Leadership or senior-operator experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
  • Working knowledge of production methods, safety regulations, and quality systems.
  • Strong communicator who can motivate, coach, and build strong teams.
  • Independent decision-maker in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and solid organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or GED; additional technical or leadership coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily crew operations to achieve safe, cost-effective, and defect-free production.
  • Translate schedules and priorities into staffing plans that meet output goals.
  • Serve as the central contact for on-shift guidance and rapid decision-making.
  • Provide floor-based coaching, training, mentoring, and timely performance feedback.
  • Track cycle time, scrap, downtime, and headcount needs; drive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse to maintain flow.
