Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in purchasing/expediting in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Business discipline with emphasis on negotiation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining working relations with suppliers assigned.
• Monitoring stock and inventories of local warehouses and planning quantities needed for production and delivery.
• Negotiating contracts and conditions for delivery of parts, materials or services.
• Ensuring timely procurement and order management to meet production needs.
• Providing supplier performance reporting and handling claims when necessary.
