Job summary

Eaton in Raleigh, NC seeks a Programmatic Build Business Relationship Manager to serve as the IT partner to the ARS ETO-Programmatic organization, guiding engineering, program management and build operations. Job description

The Programmatic Build Business Relationship Manager (BRM) serves as the primary IT partner to the ARS ETO-Programmatic organization, providing strategic leadership and operational support across programmatic engineering, program management, and build operations. This role acts as the trusted advisor between the business and IT, ensuring technology solutions effectively support program execution, engineering workflows, operational performance, and business transformation initiatives.

The BRM is responsible for driving IT execution, identifying opportunities for process improvement, translating business priorities into technology roadmaps, and ensuring successful delivery of IT capabilities that enable divisional objectives.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $165000 - $242000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the primary IT relationship manager for ARS ETO-Programmatic leadership, developing strong partnerships across engineering, program management, and operations teams.
  • Act as the day-to-day IT leader and trusted advisor for programmatic engineering and build operations.
  • Drive execution and continuous improvement of IT solutions supporting engineering, product development, and program management processes.
  • Partner closely with the ARS Group BRM and enterprise IT teams to align divisional technology priorities with broader business and transformation initiatives.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA deployment and adoption activities, ensuring programmatic business requirements and workflows are effectively represented.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve IT-related issues that impact program execution, engineering productivity, or operational performance.
  • Translate business objectives and operational needs into technology demand, business cases, and project priorities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of engineering, manufacturing, and program-management workflows to proactively identify opportunities for digital enablement and automation.
  • Drive alignment between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of technology solutions.
  • Monitor IT performance and service levels, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Champion operational excellence, continuous improvement, and user adoption of critical business systems and digital tools.
  • Maintain accountability for IT outcomes across ARS ETO-Programmatic operations, balancing strategic priorities with immediate business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, business systems, operations, process improvement, and/or engineering.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT Business Relationship Management, IT Business Partner, Plant IT, Manufacturing IT, or Operations IT leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, build, or program-management environments.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and their integration with business operations.
  • Experience supporting product lifecycle management (PLM), manufacturing execution systems (MES), engineering applications, and program-management platforms.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, shop-floor systems, end-user support, and operational technology environments.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior leaders and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading business process improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
