Job summary

Cascade Valley Corp. is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Detroit, MI. You will record daily transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.

The role supports budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with GAAP while collaborating with the accounting team. The ideal candidate has 1+ year bookkeeping experience, proficiency in accounting software, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and bookkeeping experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Process and reconcile bank statements, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist in preparation of tax returns and financial statements.
