Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Evansville, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Blend Operator to join our global technology team. You will receive instructions, operate pumps, forklifts, filters, and other process equipment, and charge raw materials into vessels.

This role includes loading and unloading tank cars, sampling, supporting production and shipping, and helping maintain housekeeping. Training is provided, and the position offers safety-focused work culture, advanced machinery, and opportunities for

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Willing and able to work weekends.
  • Willing to work a rotation, and nights.
  • Process Technology Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive instructions, verbal and written.
  • Operate plant equipment including pumps, forklifts, filters, scales, hoses, pipe manifolds, level gauges.
  • Charge raw materials into process vessels.
  • Package and transfer finished products as directed.
  • Obtain samples and record data as required.
  • Load and unload tank cars and tank trucks.
  • Assist other personnel in production and shipping operations.
  • Handle plant and vessel clean-ups and general housekeeping duties.
  • Learn to safely and effectively handle chemical processes and processing equipment.
  • Report and contain any chemical spills or emissions.
  • Support and participate in ChampionX’s Quality Improvement Process by following procedures, measuring charges and transfer quantities, making process improvement suggestions, monitoring equipment performance, and filling out unit SPC charts.
  • Support the processes to meet ISO and RC Standards.

What You Will Do:
  • Receive instructions, verbal and written.
  • Operate various types of plant equipment including pumps, fork trucks, filters, scales, hoses, hose connections, pipe manifolds, level gauges, etc.
  • Charge raw materials into process vessels.
  • Package and transfers finished products as directed.
  • Obtain samples and records data as required.
  • Load and unloads tank cars and tank trucks.
  • Assist other personnel in production and shipping operations.
  • Handle plant and vessel clean-ups and general housekeeping duties.
  • Learn how to safely and effectively handle chemical processes and processing equipment.
  • Report and contains any chemical spills or emissions.

  • Support the processes to meet the requirements of the current ISO and RC Standards.
  • May be required to work Saturday and/or Sunday.
  • Will report to: Evansville, WY
  • Work week and shift: 10 hour shifts 6 am to 4:30 pm M-F and weekends as requested
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Willing and able to work weekends
  • Willing and able to work a rotation, and nights
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders
  • Don a respirator when necessary
  • Wear fall protection when necessary
  • This position is deemed safety sensitive and may be required to submit to client or employer drug testing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Process Technology Degree preferred
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, outside environment
  • 1 year manufacturing experience
