Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking an Automated Pallet Repairer in Walterboro, SC. This role involves building and repairing pallets daily, on a production-based pay model. The shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm, with pay ranging from $16 to $25 per hour based on output.

Responsibilities include assembling pallets with a nail gun, stacking for forklift movement, and upholding safety and quality standards. A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and

Overview

As an Automated Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$16.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. (production-based position)

Shift(s):

Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm

What You'll Do

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers

• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas

• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company

• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively
