48forty Solutions in Riverside, CA is seeking a Pallet Repairer to build and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood. This piece-rate role rewards higher throughput with higher earnings, including an AVG between 16.90 and 32.90 USD per hour through production tiers.

The position runs on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 5:00am–12:30pm) at 2641 Hall Ave, Riverside, CA 92509, with benefits and long-term career opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to lift pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in lumber/warehouse/construction-related work is preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication abilities and reliability.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Overview

As a Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$16.90/hr. Incentive pay with production tiers (AVG $16.90/hr. - $32.90/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 12:30pm

What You'll Do

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas
• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company
• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed
