Job summary

48forty Solutions in Boise, ID is seeking a Pallet Repairer to build and repair wooden pallets daily. This is a piece rate position; earnings increase with production, with hourly pay starting at $18.00 and up to $22.00 per hour.

First shift runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–1:30pm, at 4941 South Apple Street, Boise. Candidates should be able to lift ~50 lbs, have a HS diploma or GED, and be capable of overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience in lumber/warehouse/construction preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with a nail gun along stringers.
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas.
• Follow all company procedures to ensure personal and coworker safety.
• Maintain high quality while handling a high volume of finished goods.

Overview

As a Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfil all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$18.00/hr + piece rate (0.40) can make up to $22.00/hr.

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 1:30pm

What You'll Do

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers

• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas

• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company

• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed
