Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Pallet Repairer in Boise, ID. Build and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood; this is a piece-rate role where more pallets mean higher earnings.

Base pay is $18.00/hr plus a $0.40 piece rate, with potential to earn up to $22.00/hr. Work Mon-Fri, 6:00am–1:30pm at 4941 South Apple Street, Boise. Emphasis on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift pallets weighing about 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction or related fields is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain high standards of quality.
• Maintain high volume while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Overview

As a Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$18.00/hr + piece rate .40 can make up to $22.00/hr

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 6:00am - 1:30pm

What You'll Do

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers

• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas

• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company

• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed
