Graphic Packaging International is seeking a Paper Machine Manufacturing Associate Manager to supervise 11–15 employees, drive safety and production KPIs, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role includes shift leadership, training plans, and liaison with other departments to optimize mill production.
The position requires 5–7 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, strong communication, and familiarity with SAP. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

The Paper Machine Manufacturing Associate Manager provides supervision and direction to 11 - 15 employees as well as planning and controlling production performance as measured by key performance indicators. In addition, they ensure compliance to established safety rules/policies, customer quality and production specifications. Actively leads and participates in the plant safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement efforts. Works with employees to develop the necessary skills to perform job tasks as outlined in the work instructions.
Job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Five to seven years of previous Paper Machine Supervisory Experience preferred.
Good people skills and ability to influence people
Good Organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Able to motivate people to perform at a higher level
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
SAP experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree a plus or 5+ years of supervision
Five to sevenyears of previous supervisory skills; manufacturing environment preferred.
Continuous Improvement – Lean Six-Sigma, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
General schedule is 1 of 4 - 12 hour rotating shifts (DuPont). Employee must be willing to work alternate schedules that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.
Pay Range: $96,000 - $120,000
