Job description

Manufacturing Associate II – O’Hara – M-TH 5:30am – 3:50pm

Location: O'Hara, Pennsylvania (United States)

Shift: Monday–Thursday 5:30am – 3:50pm (Friday overtime available)

Hourly wage: $18.00perhour (up to 5% yearly bonus)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assemble and support medical device manufacturing processes, integrating circuit boards, wiring harnesses, units, and mechanical assemblies within an FDA regulated facility.
• Perform quality control inspections and automated testing, using statistical process control (SPC), good manufacturing practices (GMP), traceability, and the material review board (MRB).
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special products.
• Interact professionally with leads, supervisors, engineers, and coworkers to enhance teamwork and foster positive working relationships.
• Support production or quality control inspections and resolve line issues through continuous improvement/lean initiatives.
• Assist process coordinators or group leads with training and cross‑training of new trainees and assemblers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience performing medical device or technical assembly in a consistent and solid level.
• Understanding of Bayer’s quality systems policies or ability to learn them quickly.
• Ability to perform technical writing and interpret technical drawings and visual work instructions.
• Adaptability to fast‑paced, changing situations and proven sound judgment.
• Teamwork and continuous improvement skills, customer focus, and ability to collaborate with multiple departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree.
• Ability to perform all major tasks and at least 50% of all operations within the Bayer manufacturing cells/lines independently.
