Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, perform repetitive tasks, and stand long periods.
• Ability to read and understand reports and willingness to cross train.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership abilities.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Basic understanding of window and door manufacturing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Follow procedures, Standardized Work, Control Plans and Product Specifications.
• Identify training needs and propose improvements to quality metrics.
• Learn and implement AMS and continuous improvement concepts.
• Support Employee Engagement activities and clean-up routines.
• Engage in cross-training to support resource planning.
• Operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools as required.
• Participate in defining and improving standard work.
• Identify problems and communicate issues to WC Leads and Supervisors.
• Use problem solving tools to improve SQDC.
• Assist with training co-workers and maintain a respectful workplace.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision or management.
• May operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) as needed.
