48forty Solutions, LLC seeks an Automated Pallet Repairer in Birmingham, AL to build and repair pallets from fresh or recycled wood. This is a piece-rate role—the more pallets you repair, the more you earn.

You will assemble pallets using a nail gun, stack finished goods for forklift movement, and strictly follow safety and quality standards while meeting high-volume demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience in lumber/warehouse, construction, carpentry, or related fields preferred.
• Fast, accurate hands and attention to quality are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work overtime as needed.

Overview

As an Automated Pallet Repairer, you’ll get to build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood on a daily basis to fulfill all of our customers’ needs! This is a piece rate position, so the more pallets you repair, the more money you make!

Hourly Pay:

$14.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Monday - Friday 6:00 AM- 1:30 PM

Monday - Friday 2:00 PM -9:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers

• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas

• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company

• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis

• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred

• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to work overtime as needed
