Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Manufacturing Associate in Hauppauge, NY to operate and set up production lines for a biotech environment. The role involves running automatic or semi-automatic machines, monitoring process controls, and ensuring adherence to specifications under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, basic math skills, and the ability to read English instructions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and ability to read and understand English instructions.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and operate basic measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines in continuous production; report to Production Supervisor.
  • Monitor meters, gauges, valves and other controls to ensure adherence to specs.
  • Follow engineering drawings, work orders and SOPs to execute manufacturing processes.

$20/hour

Shift - 2nd shift. M-F 2:30PM-11PM

What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Associate? You’ll be:
  • Setting up and operating automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production operation, reporting to the Production Supervisor.
  • Monitoring meters, gauges, valves, and other controls to ensure adherence to production specifications.
  • Following engineering drawings, work order information, and SOPs to execute the manufacturing process efficiently.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Possess knowledge of basic mathematics and the ability to read and comprehend written instructions in English.
  • Are comfortable using basic measuring equipment and have a working knowledge of computers and Microsoft OS.
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
