Join us as a Manufacturing Associate at SMC Ltd

Apply now for the Manufacturing Associate position at SMC Ltd. This role involves operating equipment to meet production goals, inspecting products, and following safety and quality standards.

Pay Range: $19.63 per hour

Shift: Day shift, 8:00 am - 8:00 pm, 12-hour rotating shifts, including 2 weekends per month.

Position Overview

Operate equipment to meet daily production requirements, ensure quality, and adhere to safety standards. Inspect products, follow SOPs and SWIs, and document quality issues according to procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete tasks following work instructions
  • Read and understand manufacturing documentation
  • Perform visual inspections for defects
  • Segregate and document rejected products using SMC’s procedures
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace
  • Ensure compliance with documentation standards
  • Learn and apply Lock Out Tag Out procedures
  • Attend regularly and maintain professionalism
Additional Duties
  • Report issues affecting workflow or quality
  • Verify equipment operation and report malfunctions
  • Follow clean room procedures and safety practices
  • Adhere to cGMP guidelines
Qualifications
Level I Associate
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Attention to detail; manual dexterity preferred
Level II Associate
  • Same as Level I plus >6 months manufacturing experience
Level III Associate
  • Same as above plus >6 months manufacturing experience
  • Experience in clean room environment preferred
  • Assist with training and oversight of newer associates
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Continuous walking, standing, and moving
  • Exposure to chemicals and machine hazards requiring respiratory protection
  • Occasional computer work
