Catalent’s Greenville, North Carolina site is a major oral solid dose development and manufacturing campus dedicated to end‑to‑end solutions from formulation development to commercial manufacturing and packaging. The Manufacturing Associate supports production by maintaining all areas per SOPs and GMPs, with a 8:00am–5:00pm Monday–Friday onsite schedule in Greenville, NC.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Associate position supports production operations by ensuring all manufacturing common areas and assigned spaces are maintained in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GMP requirements.

Shift: Monday‑Friday 8:00am‑5:00pm. Location: Greenville, NC. 100% Onsite.

The Role
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures related to equipment, cleaning, and assigned areas
  • Understand how to differentiate between “Clean” and “To Be Cleaned” equipment and areas
  • Clean and maintain storage areas for cleaned equipment
  • Identify, handle, and use approved cleaning agent
  • Restock gowning rooms and manufacturing areas with required supplies (e.g., lint‑free cloths, alcohol bottles, room cards, PAPR supplies, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned
The Candidate Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Position requires the ability to occasionally lift 40 lbs unassisted, and occasionally push and pull a maximum of 50 lbs
  • Majority of work day is performed while standing and walking
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, climb, and have full range of motion in upper and lower extremities
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals, other active chemical ingredients, respiratory irritants, skin irritants, moving machinery parts, damp, humid, wet and cramped environments
  • This position requires that a respirator be worn for your safety, and as such, employment is contingent upon being able to complete a medical evaluation with satisfactory results. The medical evaluation is conducted via an external vendor assigned by Catalent.
