Job summary

Balanced Body is hiring for a Manufacturing Assistant Supervisor. The role supports department leadership, working with the Supervisor, crew leaders and Director to achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals and ensure the team has necessary training, tools and resources to complete tasks.

The Assistant Supervisor will observe, correct, coach & discipline and contribute to strategic planning for department growth and cross-department transactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in manufacturing is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years providing leadership.
• CNC experience is preferred for vinyl, wood, or metal products.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with production scheduling, planning and/or inventory is highly preferred.
• Experience with receiving and sending parts is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to keep up with a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time-management and ability to prioritize changing tasks with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for line planning daily, weekly and long-term.
• Responsible for the production quality of the department and inspection of incoming/outgoing product.
• Able to maintain equipment in good operatinal order by following procedures, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies and performing preventive maintenance.
• Keep supplies ready by checking stock, anticipating needs and placing/expediting orders.
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by following standards and policies, and legal regulations.

The Assistant Supervisor will be responsible to observe, correct, coach & discipline. The Assistant Supervisor will be involved in strategic planning for not only the growth of the department but the transactions across departments.

An ideal Assistant Supervisor will have the following attributes: strategic planning, leadership, ability to multi-task, promote a positive attitude, ability to coach and mentor others. Strong communication skills, active listening, time management and a passion for building quality Pilate’s equipment.

Day Shift schedule Monday to Friday, 5AM to 1:30PM.
