Job summary

Dover Corporation is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team in Jenks, OK. You will assemble parts per BOM and drawings, operate hydraulic/manual presses, perform tests on assemblies, and ensure ERP data is accurate and up to date.

You will also repair and maintain equipment and assist with material movement, including forklift operations, with the potential to train others as needed. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to travel as required and/or directed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to Bill of Material, Bill of Operations, engineering drawings and other controlled documents.
• Operate hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operations.
• Perform test procedures on assemblies as directed.
• Maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
• Repair and maintain mechanical equipment.
• Move parts using forklift or manual handling as directed.

• Operates hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operation.
• Performs test procedures on assemblies as directed.
• Required to maintain accurate and timely transactions in the ERP system.
• Repairs and maintains mechanical equipment.
• Be able to drive forklift truck, hand trucks or manually move parts as directed or required.
• Complete kitting parts based on production schedule.
• May be required to train other employees and help in other departments as directed.
• Other essential duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
• This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.
