Job summary

TEKsystems seeks a methodical software tester to join the IFE Software Team in Irvine, CA. The role involves developing and executing tests for features, creating test plans, and performing regression and integration testing on diverse applications.

You will also build automation tests and assist in incident investigations with log analysis and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has a BS in CS/Engineering, 1 year of testing experience, and Proficiency in Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in software/system engineering or software/hardware testing.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix environments.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tests for specific features (airside and ground side).
• Create test cases, plans, and documentation based on user stories.
• Perform regression, performance, and integration testing of end-to-end workflows.
• Create and execute automation tests with proper documentation.
• Support incident investigations including rack/cloud troubleshooting, log collection and analysis.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
