Job description

Location: Farmingham, MA – Day 1 Onsite (Local only)

Job Type: 12+ Months (W2 Only)

Key Responsibilities

• Has experience working with project managers and product owners.
• Has experience handling and leading teams and training the team.
• Perform routine, smart, and focused exploratory tests based on high-risk areas.
• Assist in writing and performing manual test plans and related test cases.
• Verifying features and improvements using white and black box methodologies, with emphasis on debugging and identifying the root cause of issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with embedded consumer products - mandate to have.
• Experience working with consumer electronic goods and Bluetooth – mandate to have.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in testing and troubleshooting the integration of hardware components with software/firmware. This includes verifying data communication, sensor readings, device functionality, and system-level performance.
• Proven capability to comprehend large scale system architecture and understand how they work and fail. Familiar with functional API testing.
• Shown understanding of operating system fundamentals, software test engineering principles, tools, techniques, and execution with an emphasis on manual execution.
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
