Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in manual software testing (web and/or mobile applications).
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and testing methodologies.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Experience with defect tracking and lifecycle management (JIRA/HP ALM/Bugzilla).
• Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation and API testing basics with REST.
• Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Cross-browser and cross-platform testing across devices and environments.
• Ability to document and report test results and maintain test artifacts.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps and evidence.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA for issue resolution.

• Contribute to test plans and testing strategies.
• Follow QA best practices to ensure high-quality releases.
