Progressive Machining is seeking a full-time machinist. The machinist will set up and operate manual lathes and mills for various jobs. CNC experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Setup machinery for both large and small parts
• Identify material to be cut
• Accurately read a tape measure and customer's drawings
• Lift and move heavy objects (50lb+)
• Use grinder to grind edges of material
• Inspect cut products ensuring tolerances are met
• Maintain equipment
• Keep work area clean
• Work efficiently and safely to ensure jobs are completed meeting deadlines
• Assist co-workers when needed and be a team player
• Perform other reasonable tasks when necessary as requested by supervisors

Schedule

• Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday 7am-11am
• Overtime available
