We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manual Machinist to join our Metal Shop team, specializing in manufacturing high-quality Pilates equipment.

Job Summary: This role involves precision machining of components using manual mills and lathes to meet strict tolerances and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of traditional machining methods, advanced shop mathematics, and the ability to interpret engineering blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

1. Set Up and Operation:
   • Independently set up and operate manual mills and lathes to produce precision parts, adhering to quality standards.
   • Select appropriate tooling and fixtures, setting up workpieces and tooling accurately for efficient production.
2. Machining:
   • Machine components from various materials to exact specifications based on blueprints and sketches.
   • Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
   • Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings to plan machining operations.
3. General:
   • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
   • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of machined components.
   • Maintain a safe and clean working environment following safety protocols.

Working Conditions

• Based in our Metal Shop, collaborating with other departments.
• Extended standing and working with metal machinery and tools required.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn.
