Job summary

Savard Group is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist for full-time night shifts (Mon–Thu, 8:00 PM–6:00 AM). The role requires hands-on experience with manual machines (VTL, boring mills, horizontal lathes) and precision measurement tools. You will read blueprints, set up, and operate machines, performing tool changes and offset adjustments.

Key Requirements

• Experience with manual machining such as VTL/Boring Mill/ or Horizontal Lathe.
• Brands would include but not limited to Cincinnati and King brand.
• Proven ability to set up and operate Manual Machines, work centers, specializing in tool changes and in-process offset adjustments.
• Ability to effectively and safely use a variety of tools and equipment, including but not limited to depth gauges, bore gauges, height gauges, feeler gauges, micrometers, calipers, deburring tools, die grinders, drill presses, and overhead lifting equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
