Job summary

Complete Hydraulic Component Service (a division of Ohio Machinery Co) is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our hydraulic components team. You will machine ferrous and non-ferrous materials, read blueprints, and operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, and other shop equipment to tight tolerances.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of machining experience, including hydraulics, and a strong eye for detail. This full-time position is based in Middletown, OH in a dynamic, safety-conscious shop

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of machine shop experience, hydraulics preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Machining ferrous and non-ferrous parts within tolerance.
• Interpret instructions and blueprints and set up machines.
• Operate manual and CNC lathes, mills, and related equipment.

Hours: 7:00 - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Job Summary

As a Machinist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials within tolerance specifications. You'll use your expertise to interpret instructions and blueprints and operate a range of equipment including manual and CNC lathes and mills, horizontal and vertical boring mills, horizontal saws, overhead cranes, forklifts, and more.

Job Qualifications

• Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:3-5 years of machine shop experience, ideally in a hydraulics industry setting. Experience in other industries will also be considered.
• Skills:Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and indicators.CNC and manual tooling experience will be required
• Attributes:Strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs. Lift/Carry and 50lb pull
• Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Dexterity Normal
• Frequent standing/sitting up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
