Job summary

CoWorx is seeking a skilled Manual Grinder to join our fabrication team in the Methuen, MA area. This role grinds, deburrs, blends, and finishes metal components to meet specifications, utilizing hand grinders, power tools, and finishing equipment.

Work hours are 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour based on experience. Ideal candidates have manufacturing or metal finishing experience and a solid attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience using manual grinding and finishing tools.
• Ability to read measuring devices and basic prints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Manufacturing, fabrication, or metal finishing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal parts, weldments, and assemblies
• Use hand grinders, die grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools
• Smooth weld seams and remove sharp edges, burrs, and surface imperfections
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Read and follow work orders, drawings, and specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

This position is responsible for grinding, deburring, blending, and finishing metal components to meet quality and customer specifications. The ideal candidate has experience working with hand grinders, power tools, and fabricated metal products in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 based on exp.

1st shift Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Grind, deburr, and finish metal parts, weldments, and assemblies
• Use hand grinders, die grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools
