Job summary

RR Donnelley is seeking a Warehouse/Packaging Associate in Logan, Utah to assist with filling and packaging orders for mailing and shipment. The role supports continuous improvement efforts and requires precise packing, labeling, and order fulfillment.

The position operates on a 10-hour B shift (Tue-Fri, 5PM-3AM) with a base pay of $15.31 per hour plus a $1.25 differential. The company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1+ year of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret job specifications and identify correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.
  • Must have very good oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain departmental procedures and/or methods when completing assignments.
  • Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment and general warehouse procedures.
  • Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee.
  • Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Basic arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Must be willing to flex schedule to meet the needs of production, including working overtime or a different shift, if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed procedures to perform routine packing work. Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping.
  • Operate computers and relevant software.
  • Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages, and handling boxes for final product. Ensure accurate shipping information is attached, and packages are shipped according to specified schedule.
  • Place, arrange, mark, seal, and tag items in bundles, on pallets and/or in containers, bins, and bulk storage.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Identify potential issues and involve department Lead and/or management to determine an appropriate solution.
  • Count and sort various product items.
  • May feed, remove, flex, jog, and stack printed sheets, folded signatures, labels or other in-process product to and from the equipment in the area assigned.
  • May assist with special projects or more complex customer orders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

  • Basic arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Must be willing to flex schedule to meet the needs of production, including working overtime or a different shift, if needed.
Additional Information

10 hour B Shift - Tues-Fri, 5PM-3AM - Training for two weeks is: TUES-FRI 7AM-5PM

Pay rate for this location is: $15.31 houly plusDifferential: $1.25 hourly

The national pay range for this role is $15.31 - $16.50 per hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.

In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
