Job description

A.B.I. Resources is a care organization dedicated to supporting individuals recovering from brain injuries, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries in Connecticut. The role assists clients in their daily home and community life, promoting safety, independence, and overall well‑being.

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist clients in all aspects of home and community life, ensuring safety and promoting independence.
Establish a healthy, supportive bond with clients (Professional Friendship).
Provide daily living assistance, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and maintaining a clean, organized living space.
Coordinate and attend medical appointments, encourage consistent exercise, and facilitate social activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Preferably 1 year in disability care (not mandatory).
Requirements: Valid driver's license, personal car, proof of insurance, and minimum age of 18.
References: Provide a recommendation from a personal or professional contact.
