Manning Kass in California is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Litigation Associate to defend employers and insurers, handle a diverse caseload, and participate in all phases of litigation from evaluation to appeal hearings.
The ideal candidate holds a J.D., must be admitted to the California bar, and has at least one year of workers’ compensation experience or a strong willingness to learn; strong research, writing, and communication skills are essential.
Manning Kass is a national civil litigation defense firm that stands out from the rest—every case and client matters. Established in 1994 with just sixteen attorneys, they have expanded over the past thirty years to more than 170 attorneys across eight offices, including major economic hubs like New York and Los Angeles.
The position will help manage a diverse range of cases, including defending employers and insurers against employment related litigation. Associates work closely with lead attorneys daily, engaging in all phases of litigation, from case evaluation and discovery to attending workers’ compensation appeal board hearing.
Associates benefit from collaborative, team-based support while gaining hands-on experience. The ideal candidate must be eager to learn, self-motivated, and interested in long-term professional growth.
