Job summary

Farmer Focus is seeking a Manifester at the Acorn Facility to accurately scan, document, label, and verify pallets for efficient production, shipping, inventory, and recordkeeping. You will help ensure proper counts, weights, dates, and destination information are captured within time frames.

In a fast-paced poultry production environment, you will support product traceability and shipment accuracy while collaborating with production, warehouse, and shipping teams.

Qualifications

• Jack operator license is required.

Responsibilities

• Scan pallets to capture counts, weights, and dates.
• Document numbers, codes, and other required information for each pallet.
• Create pallet labels when applicable.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately within established time frames.
• Complete recordkeeping requirements in accordance with company procedures.
• Verify pallets and labels are accurate before the product is moved or shipped.
• Work closely with production, warehouse, shipping, and other team members to support accurate product movement.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies, labeling concerns, or documentation issues.

Role Overview / Purpose and Scope

The Manifesteris responsible foraccurately scanning, documenting, labeling, and verifying pallets to support efficient production, shipping, inventory, and recordkeeping processes. This role helps ensure proper casecounts;weights, dates, destination information, and pallet documentation are captured accurately and completed within establishedtime frames.

The Manifester playsan important rolein supporting product traceability, shipment accuracy, inventory control, and smooth production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and poultry production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan pallets to accurately capture proper case counts, weights, and dates.
• Document numbers, codes, and other required information for each pallet.
• Create pallet labels when applicable.
• Ensure thatall paperwork is completed accurately and within establishedtime frames.
• Complete recordkeeping requirementsin accordance withcompany procedures.
• Verify pallets and labels areaccuratebeforethe productis moved or shipped.
• Ensure pallets are sent to the correct destination.
• Operate pallet jacks or related equipment as required and authorized.
• Work closely with production, warehouse, shipping, and other team members to supportaccurateproduct movement.
• Identifyand communicate discrepancies, labeling concerns, or documentation issues.
• Follow all safety rules, instructions, and company procedures.
• Take initiative to proactively resolve issues independently when discovered.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, shipping, receiving, food processing, or poultry processing environment.
• Experience using scanning equipment, pallet labeling systems, or inventory documentation processes.
• Experienceoperatinga pallet jack or similar material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel

Workis conducted primarily in a manufacturing and production environment. This role requires access to production, warehouse, shipping, or related plant areas. The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, andcold conditionswithin the plant. Hearing and eye protective equipment arerequiredin the production area. Hair and beard nets arerequiredin the production area.Additionalpersonal protective equipment may berequiredbased on task, location, and safety requirements. This position may require standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, scanning pallets, operating pallet jacks or related equipment, and working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
