Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Operations Center Officer to oversee a commercial building in Manhattan's Chelsea area. The role includes full-time hours with multiple shifts, customer-facing duties, and interaction with clients and staff.

The candidate will monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and perform patrols as required. Requirements include NYS security guard license or licensing as applicable, HS diploma or 5 years experience, and background/drug screenings as mandated by law.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures and site policies including emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and solve problems.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the client site and perimeter.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarms.
• Operate facility computer systems as assigned.
• Handle security issues or emergencies and contact Emergency Services when needed.
