You will perform prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, charting, radiographs, and patient education. NY license, CPR/BLS, and local anesthesia certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New York dental hygiene license.
• Local anesthesia certification (as allowed by NY rules).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Commitment to quality patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance.
• Conduct periodontal charting and assessments.
• Take diagnostic radiographs.
• Deliver patient education and oral hygiene instruction.
• Identify treatment needs and communicate with patients and providers.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support comprehensive care through team collaboration.
• Promote preventive dentistry and long-term oral health.
