Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a seasoned IT project manager to lead regional information systems initiatives across the North and Central WI region. You will coordinate with site leaders and manage staff and budgets to deliver reliable technology solutions.

This full-time, onsite role requires strong communication, team leadership, and a track record in project delivery. Travel within WI is required to support hospitals and facilities, with competitive benefits and opportunities for

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology or related field.
  • 3 years in information technology and/or project management. Includes 1 year of supervisory experience in managing staff and budgets in an Information Technology environment
  • Demonstrated project management expertise
  • Knowledgeable of performance management and improvement techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization. Good presentation skills
  • Proven experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment. Excellent team player
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal skill; technical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions
  • Strong decision-making abilities
  • Exposure to finance and budgeting a plus

Responsibilities

  • Researches, evaluates and recommends hardware and software products that will enhance the capabilities of the organization’s information systems
  • Liaise with functional or operational area managers to understand their current and future information needs and determine how information systems should be installed, configured and maintained to best meet these needs
  • Ensures that applications and infrastructure are current and available to support business operations
  • Ensures that technology problems and service requests are resolved in accordance with service level objectives and information systems policies. Effectively communicates technology changes and outages to impacted business users
  • Interacts regularly with site/region executives, service line and operational leaders to collect and understand new business needs, relevant issues or adoption barriers
  • Locates existing solutions or develops new technology to solve site/region issues where appropriate
  • Ensures that the local site/region technology and infrastructure meets or exceeds established uptime targets through capacity planning, backup & recovery planning, lifecycle planning and server health monitoring
  • Investigates, tests and applies necessary system and application updates/patches to reduce exposure to malicious or unauthorized access. Also ensures that all system software is properly licensed and tracked
  • Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, compensation changes, resolution of employee concerns, corrective actions, terminations, and overall employee morale.
  • Develops and recommends operating and capital budgets and controls expenditures within approved budget objectives.
  • Responsible for understanding and adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and for ensuring that personal actions, and the actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the organization's business.

First Shift -Onsite location Sheboygan and Grafton Wisconsin. Travel for the WI area Manitowoc/Two Rivers/Sheboygan/Hartford/Grafton.

Pay Range

$51.05 - $76.60

Major Responsibilities
