Job summary

Language Sprout Learning Ctr in the Minneapolis–St Paul metro area is hiring Mandarin teachers for both full-time and part-time roles. Classes are conducted in person and online, with a focus on engaging, child-friendly language instruction.

We use a proprietary curriculum and provide paid trainings. Teaching experience is not required, but enthusiasm, reliability, and strong communication with students and families are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in the target language is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Basic computer skills, including Zoom, are required.
• Enthusiasm to learn Language Sprout’s teaching method.
• Reliable transportation is needed.

Responsibilities

• Teach in person and online classes according to an agreed upon schedule
• Plan and implement language classes using Language Sprout’s award-winning proprietary curriculum and materials
• Attendance to all paid trainings
• Administrative tasks as required

Qualifications And Skills

• Fluency in the target language
• Experience working with children
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Zoom video conferencing
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn Language Sprout’s teaching method
• Reliable transportation
