Job summary

CompMobileCare in Alhambra, CA is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our senior outpatient dental team. The role requires bilingual fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese and a compassionate, dependable approach to care.

Responsibilities include chairside assistance, portable equipment setup, infection control, basic charting, and patient support. A Certified/Registered Dental Assistant with an Active Radiation Certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required.
• Certified/Registered Dental Assistant credential required or preferred.
• Active Radiation Certificate required or preferred.
• 2+ years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the dentist chairside for general dentistry
• Set up, break down, and maintain portable dental equipment
• Serve patients in their native language, English and/or Mandarin
• Follow strict sterilization and infection control protocols
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, supported, and informed
• Complete basic documentation, charting and administrative tasks
• Represent CMC with professionalism, compassion, and reliability

Qualifications

• Certified/Registered Dental Assistant
• Active Radiation Certificate
• 2+ years of Dental Assisting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of OSHA & infection control
• Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver's License
• Able to lift/transport equipment (25–50 lbs)
• Must pass federal background check & drug screening
• Professional, punctual, and able to work independently
