Quantum Sky is seeking an experienced Mandarin language enabled OSINT/PAI Analyst to gather, analyze, and report on publicly available information in Mandarin, focused on NASIC mission relevance. The role emphasizes reading Mandarin-language sources across news, social media, blogs, and government publications.

The candidate should have five or more years of Mandarin-language analysis experience, strong written communication, and a TS/SCI clearance. U.S.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Mandarin Chinese with strong reading ability; DLPT 3/3 preferred.
• At least five years of OSINT or intelligence analysis focusing on Mandarin sources.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; experience may substitute for degree in some cases.
• Experience with OSINT tools, social media monitoring, and open-source databases.
• Excellent written communication and ability to present findings clearly.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Quantum Sky is seeking an experienced Mandarin language enabled, detail oriented, Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)/Publicly Available Information (PAI) Analyst, primarily focused on written sources. This individual will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on publicly available information in Mandarin, with an emphasis on identifying intelligence relevant to the mission of the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Mandarin Chinese, particularly in reading and interpreting a wide range of online materials such as news articles, social media, blogs, government publications, and other publicly accessible sources.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of publicly available information in Mandarin Chinese, including digital media, social platforms, academic publications, and government reports.
• Utilize advanced search techniques, databases, and analytical tools to efficiently gather and evaluate information.
• Identify trends, patterns, and emerging developments in publicly available data that are pertinent to problem sets defined by the government customer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing intelligence efforts and inform strategic decision-making.
• Provide actionable intelligence to stakeholders by synthesizing large volumes of open-source data into clear, concise, and relevant reports.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines surrounding the collection and use of open-source intelligence.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in OSINT tools, methodologies, and best practices, especially related to Mandarin Chinese language sources.

Qualifications

Required:

• Language Proficiency: Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, with a strong focus on reading and interpreting written content. Fluency in speaking is beneficial but not required. Ideal candidate will have at least 3/3 on DLPT.
• Experience: At least five (5) years of experience in open-source intelligence analysis or general intelligence analysis, with a focus on Mandarin Chinese-language sources.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as International Relations, Political Science, Asian Studies, Information Science, or a related discipline desired. Years of experience can be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
• Skills:
• • Expertise in using OSINT tools and platforms (e.g., social media monitoring tools, search engines, databases).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to discern critical information from large sets of data.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
  • Understanding of Chinese social, political, and cultural contexts to enhance the relevance and accuracy of analysis.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with information security practices and ethical guidelines in intelligence collection.
• Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Compensation:

• Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $100,000-$115,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
